Privacy

This policy covers this website only. Our apps each have their own.

Effective 30 October 2026

Who we are

Boots & Cats Software LLC is a limited liability company registered in Texas, United States, with its place of business in Austin, Texas. We are the controller of any personal information described here. You can reach us at contact@bootsandcatssoftware.com.

What this website collects

Nothing you type. There are no accounts, no forms, no comment boxes and no newsletter sign-up on this site. We do not set cookies and we do not use advertising or social media trackers.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless, it does not fingerprint your browser or device, and it does not follow you to other websites. What we see is aggregate: how many people loaded a page, roughly where in the world from, and which page sent them. We cannot identify you from it.

Hosting and server logs

This site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes your IP address and browser user-agent in order to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. Those logs are kept for a short period by Cloudflare under its own terms and are used for security and reliability, not for profiling. Cloudflare acts as our processor for this.

If you email us

Email sent to an address on this domain arrives in a mailbox we read. We keep the message, your email address and whatever you chose to tell us, for as long as it is useful to handle your question and to keep a record of what was said โ€” generally no more than three years after our last exchange. We do not add you to a mailing list and we do not sell or share your details.

Our apps are separate

SingularityKJ and any other software we publish handle their own accounts and data, and each is covered by its own privacy policy published with that product. This page does not describe them. For SingularityKJ, see singularitykj.com.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to how we use it. Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; residents of California, the EU, the UK and elsewhere have comparable rights under their own laws.

Because this site collects nothing, in practice this almost always means an email you sent us. Write to contact@bootsandcatssoftware.com and we will answer within 45 days. We will not charge you or treat you differently for asking. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for targeted advertising, under any definition of those terms.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the effective date above. Material changes will be noted on this page rather than made quietly.
